Language
Aidan says "Butterfly neck" instead of "Butterfly net." He also says "Gobbles" for "Goggles." I usually say the word back correctly to him without indicated that he mispronounced. Sometimes, it is tempting to say it back his way due the cuteness factor. He has generalized the rules for plurals and past tense but I notice that he does not have all the (many) exceptions yet.

Death and Violence
Is this a boy thing? Aidan has been into killing bugs and has somehow learned the word dead. I guess this stuff is going to come up whether we like it or not and what is important is how we react to it. I have been telling him it is OK to kill bugs that are trying to bite you. I don't really want him killing insects that aren't doing him any harm.
