I was thinking I would not tell Aidan about Santa Claus or least not emphasize it. How naive I was! The reason is that I remember feeling bad when I learned there was no Santa. I felt that I was lied to.
But Aidan seemed to pick it up out of the air and is totally into Santa. I have no idea how he learned so much. Daycare says they did not teach him either. Now I find myself repeating all the Santa Claus stuff I learned as a kid. Yesterday, I taught him to say "Ho, ho, ho," which he loves.
I guess I will leave the discovery of the truth about Santa phase to a later date.
